OUR MISSION
At Off The Plate Farm Animal Sanctuary, a 501c3, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and provide life-long care to unwanted, mistreated or neglected farm animals. Our goal is to provide them a “forever home” full of compassion, love, optimal health and safe pastures to live their natural lives in peace. Our passion is to educate the public about their important bond with the Earth, and ways we can live in greater harmony for the benefit of our planet and all who share it. Our belief is animals are not food, they are family.
OUR STORY
Hello, we are Gretchen and Charlie. We moved to Vermont from the San Francisco area to do what we are passionate about…rescuing animals. We are so excited for you to share our journey with us. We know that we can't save them all, but we will spend the rest of our lives trying to save as many animals as we can.
